About one month ago, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that the “whole team” was working on Deadpool 3

On an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Reynolds told the co-hosts that a Deadpool 3 is currently in the works and also confirmed that they are now part of the Marvel family!

“Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team,” Reynolds said. “We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”

There has been a lot of speculation around the release of the third Deadpool film, especially after Disney’s purchase of Fox, who was responsible for both Deadpool and Deadpool 2The biggest issue with Deadpool moving to Marvel and Disney is the fact that fans of the franchise know that Ryan Reynold’s character isn’t the most “family-friendly”.

However, fans can now stop worrying because Deadpool 3 is set to be just as the other films were. This means typical Reynolds in action along with his rude and crude humor. And the third film is set to keep their R-rating!

During an interview with Screenrant, the Deadpool screenwriters Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese both confirmed that the film will remain the way the franchise has been — rude and inappropriate.

When Wernick and Reese were asked about if Deadpool 3 will keep its R-rating now that the film is under Disney. Reese responded with:

“Absolutely, because I don’t think it’ll be under the Disney banner. Like, I don’t think when you go to Deadpool 3, there’s going to be a Magic Castle that appears. I think it’s going to be under the Fox banner, so yes.”

A release date for the third Deadpool film has yet to be announced, but we cannot wait to see it!
