Opening date announced for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

Although we are still having trouble saying goodbye to the Great Movie Ride, we are excited to experience the brand new attraction taking its place — Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

And now, we have even more exciting news to announce.. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 4, 2020!

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will actually be the first attraction in Disney that is solely based around Mickey Mouse himself. But what I am more excited about is the queue line — I know, call me crazy but hear me out.

Before Disney guests even go into the Chinese Theater, which is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be based, guests will enter a “magic portal” which will bring them from our world into the cartoon world!

Once Disney guests board the new attraction, they will be fully immersed in the cartoon world of the new Disney “Mickey Mouse” shorts. The one and only Goofy will play the role of your engineer as you embark on a fun-filled adventure. But of course, with Goofy comes some with twists and turns so expect to go off course a bit.

Disney guests can expect all new technology as well as brand new and unique visual effects in order to create a multidimensional experience.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will also include a brand new and entirely original storyline as well as a very catchy new theme song. (Don’t say I didn’t warn you).
