Look out world — the Disney+ availability is expanding! Delta Airlines and The Walt Disney Company have just announced a new partnership: Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, will now offer select content aboard Delta’s flights as In-Flight Entertainment.
“We know how much our customers value entertainment on board,” said Ekrem Dimbiloglu, Director of Onboard Product and Brand Experience, in the announcement. “That’s why we have installed seat-back screens in over 700 aircraft and continue to forge partnerships with entertainment giants like The Walt Disney Company to bring more diversity and variety to the entertainment options we offer in flight.”
The In-Flight Entertainment — including the titles from Disney+ — is currently available for viewing via Delta Studio, an amenity that is free of charge to everyone onboard a Delta flight, no matter where you are seated.
Here are all of the film titles featured in the In-Flight Entertainment Spotlight for the month of December. Remember that In-Flight Entertainment aboard Delta flights and other airlines is subject to change, so we assume that the Disney+ content available on Delta flights will rotate.

Delta also says that passengers will be eligible to receive a free, 14-day trial of Disney+. All you have to do is be a Delta U.S. SkyMiles member and traveler flying on certain routes. Then, you’ll be able to sign up for a two-week free trial of Disney’s new streaming service, which includes everything from Disney and Marvel Studios content to Lucasfilm, National Geographic, Pixar, and so much more. Disney+ is also the home to a wide variety of exclusive original content, including full-length films, series, documentaries, shorts, and more. If you’re a Delta SkyMiles member this is a great deal, but if you’ve been torn between airlines lately and want a reason to choose your go-to, this offer could persuade any Disney fanatic.

This isn’t the first time Delta has done something like this, either, Previously, the airline has brought Hulu originals and Spotify music streaming onboard their flights. We hope this partnership with Disney+ leads to even more Disney titles being made available on Delta flights in the future.
Don’t want to fly Delta but still want to stream your favorite Disney+ content? Not to worry! Remember you can download Disney+ films and shows to your mobile device and stream offline, free of charge, as long as you have a subscription to the streaming service. Our tip? Download everything you’ve been wanting to watch to your mobile device (like a phone or iPad) and then stream offline while you’re flying to your destination. What could make a flight better than that?
