The Internet’s latest sensation has gotten even more attention once fans of The Mandalorian realized that Christmas 2019 was Baby Yoda‘s first Christmas!
The fan-favorite Star Wars character, who is actually 50 years old, debuted on the Disney+ Original Series, The Mandalorian, and has taken the Internet by storm.
And recently, one Instagram user brought something to everyone’s attention: “Is nobody going to acknowledge the fact that it’s Baby Yoda’s first Christmas?” asked Instagram page @babyyodadaily. This got everyone thinking and now, thanks to the Baby Yoda Christmas Meme, the page now has over 47,000 followers since they first posted on November 17.
This is by far the only meme based off of “The Child“, as ever since The Mandalorian premiered memes of this fan-favorite character have gone viral and taken the Internet by storm.
This isn’t the only meme that this Instagram page has posted. Baby Yoda celebrated his first Christmas in style thanks to some of this fan art!
And then there is a post that asks a very intriguing question. “Where would you take Baby Yoda for the holidays?”

Overall, I think we can all agree that no matter where Baby Yoda is or what Baby Yoda is doing, the character will always be adorable.
“Well, look, the scale of the reaction is probably beyond my expectations by a wide margin,” The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “That said, the moment I laid eyes on the character, I had a strong feeling the character was going to connect with audiences. It’s just so cute, so interesting, so compelling, in many respects so familiar and yet so new.”
