Since November 1, Christmas has come alive all across Walt Disney World. But while activities like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are already well underway, that holiday cheer is still continuing to spread. The latest target: Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs.

Disney Springs announced the arrival of Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar this past weekend over social media, and now we finally know more details!

This watering hole for bare-bones aeronautical adventurers has transformed into one incredibly holly jolly hangar, and will officially debut on November 29. Lights and garland are tossed about featuring airplane-themed ornaments, as well as throwback moments to the Indiana Jones movies. But Pilot Lindsey has gone far beyond just decorations.

Once the hanger’s makeover opens on Black Friday, guests will also get to take some special holiday menu items for a test flight. These include:

  • Entres and Appetizers like the Holiday Caprese Wreath and Drummer Boy Braised Lamb with Truffle.

  • Delicious Desserts like the Ugly “Sweeter” Bread with cinnamon smear brioche and egg nog icing.

  • Drinks like White Christmas Margarita (pictured above with the Caprese wreath) that features Rumchata, Malibu Rum, and Sauza Tequila mixed with lime and white cranberry juices and garnished with whole cranberries and a green sugar rim.

Of course, it’s not the Holiday season without your host trying to offer you his “specialty eggnog.” So, you will also get to try “Jock’s Holiday Nog” that starts with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, adds Frangelico, Rumchata, vanilla creamer, and ends with a red sugar rim garnish. (The FAA-most likely-does not recommend flying your plane after one of these.)

Jock Lindey’s holiday makeover is not the first sign of the Holidays at Disney Springs by any means. The world-class shopping and dining center already–among other things–has plans for Black Friday and plays host to a magical Christmas Tree Trail.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is the perfect hangout spot for every Indiana Jones fan at any age. Think back to the first Indiana Jones movie. After outrunning that massive boulder, and a tribe of angry natives, Indy jumps onto a floating biplane to make his heroic escape back to civilization. This is where we hear the immortal line “I hate snakes, Jock! I hate ’em!” Yes, Jock Lindsey is that Jock.

Disney and Lucasfilm have taken us to the chartering bush pilot’s central hub. But, niche character plays host to a cornucopia of Indiana Jones memorabilia that includes the original authentic voodoo dolls from Temple of Doom and harkens back to the Jungle Cruise area of Adventureland. The bar features a drink and a small plate menu inspired by the franchise. This IS a very family-friendly establishment that offers fun non-alcoholic drinks. Fortunately, Chilled Monkey Brains are not included.
