In this edition, I am sharing some top quick service meals for those who are on a plant-based, vegan, or vegetarian diet who are looking for a quick bite while in the theme parks.
Lighthouse Sandwich – Columbia Harbour House
This vegetarian and vegan friendly item can be found at Magic Kingdom and consists of hummus, tomato, and broccoli slaw on whole-grain bread. It’s simple, refreshing, and surprisingly filling.
The Lighthouse Sandwich is served with house-made potato chips.

Felucian Garden Spread – Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Hungry vegetarian or vegan travelers can fuel up at this newly opened Star Wars themed eatery in Hollywood Studios. This quick service meal consists of plant-based “kefta meatballs,” herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish, and pita.
Pacific Island Burger – D-Luxe Burger
D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs has recently added a plant-based Pacific Island Burger to their menu. This vegetarian friendly item consists of a plant-based patty with cabbage and mushroom ragoût, mango salsa, lettuce, tomato, and pickle served on a plant-based Parker House roll.
Tomato Basil Pizza – Gasparilla Island Grill
Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, there are a few vegan options available at Gasparilla Island Grill, one of them being a delicious tomato basil pizza. Disney guests can also get a plain plant-based cheese pizza if that is more up their alley.
7-Layer Rice Bowl – Fairfax Fare
This 7-layer rice bowl can be found in Hollywood Studios is sure to fill you up! Filled with vegan chili, cilantro rice, black beans, fire-roasted corn medley, pico de gallo, and sour cream then topped with cheddar served with warm tortillas, this vegan option is a must-try!
These are only a few of the several vegan options currently available at Walt Disney World quick service locations. Walt Disney World has also recently introduced hundreds of vegetarian, vegan and plant-based items as well as a new menu icon so those on a special diet can easily identify food items they can enjoy so be on the lookout for the new green leaf!
