Walt Disney World’s newest bar is themed after “Beauty and the Beast,” and our Disney Princess-loving hearts can’t get enough of it.
Enchanted Rose, the recently reimagined Mizner’s Lounge and Commander Porter’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, is now in soft opening, and after we had the opportunity to go inside and experience it, we knew we had to share the photos with our Inside the Magic readers and fellow Belle and Beast fans.
Enchanted Rose is perhaps the most appropriate name possible for this new bar and lounge, since it’s themed after “Beauty and the Beast.” From what we can tell, it will be of the most enchanting environments for adults at Walt Disney World looking for a place to relax while on vacation. From the gorgeous gold details to the comfortable seating and muted color scheme, this place has a very luxurious atmosphere and we love it.
Fans of the original animated version of “Beauty and the Beast” will enjoy this new lounge, but fans of the live-action version of the film will love it even more, as is really themed after the 2017 film. The lounge is comprised of several sections that pay homage to Beast’s castle: The Ballroom, The Garden Room, The Garden Patio, and The Library. And when it comes to décor, think of the live-action film brought to life in person. You can see nods to Beast’s castle, the darker color scheme that the live-action movie has, and even references to the characters (we spotted Cogsworth on display!). Of course, there are roses everywhere, which we know Belle and Beast would love.
The lounge is very distinctly themed after the live-action film and doesn’t feel reminiscent of the original animated version at all. It feels quite different than the atmosphere of Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom. Enchanted Rose is definitely more sophisticated and adult-focused, something we really appreciate since it replaced the adult-oriented bar/lounge area at the Grand Floridian.
Enchanted Rose will celebrate its official grand opening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this Tuesday at 1 p.m. Take a look at some of the photos from our visit to Enchanted Rose below:
