With Disney+ launching in just a few months, it’s no wonder fans everywhere are wondering just how much they’ll have to pay to gain access to all their favorite Disney content on the company’s new streaming service. Lucky for us, it looks like it will be pretty affordable. The Walt Disney Company announced on Tuesday that it will only cost $13 for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ subscriptions altogether.
We found out not too long ago that Disney+ will only cost $7 per month to subscribe to alone, so $13 per month for all three streaming platforms seems like an incredible deal. But of course, these streaming services won’t come without any ads. Chairman and CEO Bob Iger shared that the $13 bundle deal applies to subscribers who get Disney+, ESPN+, and the ad-supported version of Hulu only. The deal will also be available as soon as the November 12 launch of Disney+. So we’ll have to deal with a few Hulu ads, but considering everything else we’ll get for $13, that doesn’t seem too bat at all.
“It’s going to be treated as the most important product that the company has launched…certainly during my tenure,” Iger said Tuesday. And come to think of it, it could be the best product a Disney fan could purchase to date. The streaming service will give us access to everything we could ever dream of in terms of new and old Disney programming. You can check out the full list of what will be available here.
As CNET reports, Disney+ is one of the greatest examples of high-profile Hollywood giants trying their hand at competing with streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and (coming soon) Apple. But considering the low price of Disney+ at launch, it doesn’t seem like Disney+ will have a hard time raking in subscribers, especially considering the “Star Wars,” Marvel, Fox, and National Geographic fans who will surely want to subscribe to the platform, in addition to the die-hard Disney nerds like us who are just excited to finally be able to find all of our favorite childhood movies all in one place.
