If you’ve been waiting to visit Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge since it opened on May 31, now’s your chance. Disney has officially changed the reservation process for visiting Disneyland’s first bar, and it’s easier than ever before to get into the cantina. Guests wanting to visit Oga’s Cantina for some galactic provisions, out-of-this-world libations, and some awesome tunes by DJ R3X can now do so using the Disneyland App.
Previously, getting to enter Oga’s Cantina was pretty difficult for your average guest visiting Batuu. When the land first opened, eager fans were lining up for hours just to be able to go inside one of the most popular attractions that Black Spire Outpost had to offer. It wasn’t long before Disneyland altered the entrance process by using text reminders to allow guests to wait in a virtual queue in order to enter. Still, Oga’s Cantina reached capacity and often Cast Members would shut down the line hours before park closing because there were already hundreds of guests who wanted to enter. After Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was open to the public on June 24, guests were required to make a reservation for Oga’s Cantina on the Disneyland website in order to visit the bar. Now that guests can make reservations using the Disneyland App, the process of getting to enter Oga’s Cantina is much more seamless and streamlined, not unlike the process of visiting any other dining location at Disneyland Resort.
Now, guests can conveniently use the Disneyland App in order to make a reservation for Oga’s Cantina, and the process is identical to all of the other reservation-required dining locations at Disneyland Resort. Simply open the Disneyland App and select Oga’s Cantina, click “Reserve Dining,” select your desired date and meal time, and see whether or not a reservation is available. Due to the popularity of the cantina, we suspect it will continue to be pretty difficult to get a reservation, but not impossible. So if you’re flexible with the date and time of your visit, we think trying to get a reservation is definitely worth a shot.
