Chris Evans has been one of the most integral characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since its creation over ten years ago and as his role has changed significantly since “Avengers: Endgame,” it doesn’t mean the company doesn’t have a few tricks left up their sleeves for the patriotic hero.

Every Marvel fan now knows that at the end of “Avengers: Endgame,” Chris Evans offers fans a farewell as he not only ages drastically in the current timeline but he also offers over his iconic shield to Sam Wilson (The Falcon). Although, as emotional and definitive as this ending was, it doesn’t necessarily mean Chris Evan’s Captain America is officially gone forever.

According to a new report by We Got This Covered, one of their sources claim that Marvel Studios wants to further explore Steve’s adventures throughout time in a future movie or TV series. Specifically, they want to show what it was like when he was reunited with the Red Skull and lived what we would like to think was a normal life with Peggy Carter.

And according to this source, it’s claimed that Evans is considering returning to the role for this project. However, at this time it has not been publicly confirmed by Disney or Evans.

Now that Disney is expanding the MCU into their upcoming streaming service Disney+ through multiple new TV series, the possibilities really are endless for Evans’ Captain America. If Disney did want to move forward with a possible TV show with the character and if Evans were to agree, the series could expand into and cross-over the other MCU shows coming to Disney+, including WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and The Winter Solider TV series.

What are your thoughts on the possibility of Chris Evans’ Captain America possibly returning to the MCU in some form? Let us know in the comments below!
