Mickey’s PhilharMagic a 12-minute 3D fantasy adventure is coming to Disneyland Resort this April. It will be located at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land which was once the Muppet Vision 3D attraction.

Music and animation will come to life as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other favorite Disney characters take the stage and bring this magical adventure to guests visiting Disney California Adventure park.

Donald who finds the conductor’s baton and Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat, while preparing the orchestra for Mickey, decides to work a little magic and things get out of control fast and Donald is unexpectedly plunged into a 3D dream world of classic Disney animated musical sequences.

The experience will sweep you away into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences from “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid,” to “Peter Pan” and “Aladdin.” The show also features 3D effects, scents, and water, as well as a number of characters from Disney movies.

Here is the full list of memorable Disney animation songs featured in the show:

  • “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast
  • “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid
  • “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” from The Lion King
  • “You Can Fly” from Peter Pan
  • “A Whole New World” from Aladdin

The attraction has been a guest favorite at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom since October 2003. It is also at Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and opened in 2018 at Disneyland Paris.

What’s unique about this attraction is that it’s one of a very select number of attractions at Disney theme parks in which Walt Disney Imagineering has collaborated with another division of The Walt Disney Company, Walt Disney Animation Studios. This same partnership developed the Fantasmic! shows at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
