Aspiring princesses and knights will soon have even more chances to transform into Disney royalty with a new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and an expanded location at Magic Kingdom Park.
Opening this summer at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Walt Disney World’s third magical makeover location will be located inside what is currently the Ivy Trellis Salon. The Ivy Trellis is not disappearing, however. The salon will be relocated into Senses – A Disney Spa.
The boutique’s Magic Kingdom location inside Cinderella Castle has proven so popular, it’s getting an expansion. Work will begin this spring to add “more chairs, a very special magic mirror, and a transformation experience that will help guests choose the perfect outfits and accessories,” says Disney. The location will remain open during the expansion and existing reservations will not be affected.
Walt Disney World’s other Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be found at the Once Upon a Toy store in Disney Springs Marketplace. If you haven’t had a chance to visit these enchanted beauty salons, the experience caters to guests aged 3 to 12 years old. Young Disney fans are paired up with Fairy Godmothers-in-Training who transform them into princesses or knights. The experience may include hair styling, nail polish, accessories, gowns, and more, depending on which makeover package you select. Prices range from $19.95 to $450, so there’s a wide range of options for every budget.
