Disney Parks and Resorts have plenty of holiday cheer to go around, and now, the Play Disney Parks app is providing guests with even more flurries of fun this holiday season. This includes special new achievements and Apple Music playlists to provide guests with festive experiences on their Christmastime visits to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
We’re always looking for new ways to enjoy the Disney Parks every time we visit, and the Play Disney Parks app is a great way to experience something new with your family on your next Disney vacation.
Starting at Disneyland Resort, guests to Disney’s California Adventure park can earn special achievements when riding Grizzle River Run, a white water rafting-themed expedition through the rivers of Grizzly Peak. And over at Disneyland Park, guests can earn holiday achievements when riding attractions featuring their annual holiday overlays.
One shrunken attraction with a holiday overlay includes the merriest cruise that ever sailed, “it’s a small world” holiday, which features happy holiday decorations that only appear during the merry Christmas season. You can also earn holiday achievements when you say hello to Sandy Claws himself, Jack Skellington, in the ride where two holidays collide, Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Guests can also access special seasonal Apple Music playlists during their holiday time visits to the theme parks at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
At both Disneyland park in Disneyland Resort and Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort, guests can access the Disney Holiday Hits playlist on Apple Music. This mix features the best set of tunes to get you and your party in the holiday spirit when strolling down either park’s Main Street U.S.A.
Over at Disney’s California Adventure park, guests can access a “Festival of the Holidays” playlist when visiting the park. This seasonal set of tunes will get you in the Christmas mood while exploring the many festive offerings found during the park’s seasonal celebration of the Festival of Holidays.
Walt Disney World’s Epcot is also joining in on this Christmas fun with its Candlelight Processional album. The album will features songs and narration from actual Candlelight Processional shows that took place at America Gardens Theater during the park’s Festival of the Holidays celebration.
In addition to the parks, these playlists are also accessible everywhere else, so you can enjoy the spirit of the season Disney-style when you’re ringing in yuletide cheer in your own home.
We love listening to Disney-inspired holiday music all season long, and these playlists are great to listen to when traveling to the Disney parks this season or when spreading holiday happiness in your hometown. Apple Music subscribers can add these Disney playlists to their Apple Music library. If you don’t already subscribe to Apple Music, not to worry! You can sign up for a free three-month trial so you can listen to each playlist during this holiday season.
These holiday achievements and playlists are some of the great benefits of using the Play Disney Parks app, which launched earlier this year. The app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play and provides Disney Parks guests with activities, games, and music to enjoy when visiting the U.S. Disney Parks.
The holiday achievements and festive playlists are two of the awesome features that have been added to the app since its summer 2018 launch. And we can’t wait to hear of the new interactive features coming to the app next year, but for now, we’ll add the app to our list of ways to enjoy the Disney Parks throughout the holiday season.
