Every year at Disneyland Resort from Halloween Time through the New Year, Haunted Mansion transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Disneyland Resort Cast Members convert the beloved attraction into a special seasonal treat by adding jack-o’-lanterns galore, spooky wreaths, Jack Skellington, Sally, and Oogie Boogie figures, and more. There’s even a holiday gift of nicely wrapped bones for Jack’s ghostly dog, Zero. Below, watch a time-lapse video to see all the magic that goes into creating this limited-time experience.

As part of Haunted Mansion‘s annual holiday festivities, the attraction also gets a new Gingerbread House each year. The current creation was inspired by monster movies and features a 5-foot spider with glowing eyes suspended above the Grand Hall table.
