You don’t have to visit the Disney Parks to experience the magic of the holidays this season. Once again, Disney and ABC will be providing viewers with delightful holiday entertainment through the “25 Days of Christmas” programming event.

Beginning December 1, festive holiday-themed programming will air across all Disney and ABC channels, including ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior, leading up to Christmas on December 25.

It is a holiday tradition in the television world for Freeform (the channel formerly dubbed ABC Family) to air 25 days of holiday entertainment in December. This year, the channel is airing holiday favorites, including “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “The Santa Clause,” in addition to airing the premieres of two new Freeform original films, “No Sleep ’til Christmas” and “Life-Size 2.” But perhaps Disney fans’ most anticipated program will be “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Holiday Magic,” part of the series that covers weddings taking place at Disney Parks and Resorts. This season’s “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” episode will feature a “Mary Poppins”-themed ceremony, perfect for this season of celebrating “Mary Poppins Returns,” hitting theaters in December.

Additionally, the fan-favorite holiday program “The Great Christmas Light Fight” will air for its sixth season on ABC, along with numerous other holiday episodes from hit ABC series and returning Christmas specials. ABC will also be airing the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” once again as well.

For the second year in a row, “25 Days of Christmas” is extending to Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD. Special new holiday episodes of new and returning Disney television shows will air throughout the month. Additionally, holiday episodes of Disney series will be available for viewing from November 23 through January 1, 2019, so you and your family can enjoy your favorite holiday television shows all season long.
