If you’re in the San Francisco area or you’re planning a visit to California, make your way to the Walt Disney Family Museum on November 3 for a discussion with Genevieve Godbout, the woman who illustrated a soon-to-be-released edition of a “Mary Poppins” picture book. Godbout will discuss her work on the new book and how she brought the characters to life through her illustrations. She will also be reading the new edition of “Mary Poppins,” signing copies of the book and hosting a kid-friendly Q&A session. This event is family friendly and tickets are available on the Walt Disney Family Museum website.

In the parks

What’s the ultimate way to live your best Poppins-loving life? Why, meeting Mary and Bert in the Disney parks, of course! You can meet Mary Poppins and her best companion Bert in the Disney parks year-round, so why not jump on the chance to meet them in celebration of their newest film?

If you are the ultimate “Mary Poppins” fan, then Disneyland is the place for you. Eat at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, the Poppins-themed restaurant at the end of Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland park. See your favorite animated musicians come to life by listening to the Pearly Band perform all throughout Fantasyland. And if you’re lucky, you can even spot Mary and Bert performing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in the afternoon or taking a ride on King Arthur’s Carousel throughout the day.
