‘Kinect: Disneyland Adventures’ release date set, will feature Matterhorn, Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise and Pirates

Microsoft has announced a release date of Nov. 15, 2011 for the highly-anticipated theme park exploration game entitled “Kinect: Disneyland Adventures.” The video game was first revealed at E3 2011 and today new screenshots have been made available, showcasing the extraordinary amount of detail gamers will see when wandering through Disneyland streets, encountering attractions and characters along the way.

Demos of Kinect: Disneyland Adventures will be available at the Microsoft Xbox booth at the 2011 D23 Expo beginning Friday, Aug. 19. Included in the adventures will be a virtual trip to Swiss Alps for an encounter with the Abominable Snowman on the Matterhorn Bobsleds, seeing and hearing macaws, toucans, orchids and totem poles singing in the Enchanted Tiki Room, joining a skipper on a wild adventure to see zebras, hippos and gorillas on the Jungle Cruise, and navigating the waters of the bayou in new chapters of Pirates of the Caribbean.
