Universal is preparing to open its first UK theme park resort in 2031 — officially named Universal United Kingdom Resort — and attention has already turned toward which major entertainment franchises could eventually become part of the experience.

Could James Bond Join Universal’s UK Resort?

A Bond attraction could allow guests to step into the world of espionage, whether through a high-speed thrill ride, an interactive experience, or a live stunt show.
Previous reports have suggested that Universal United Kingdom Resort could be exploring a James Bond stunt show, potentially inspired by The Bourne Stuntacular at Universal Orlando Resort — an experience that could allow guests to witness Bond-style action sequences, practical effects, and live stunts firsthand.
The Bourne-themed show combines live performers, practical effects, large-scale action sequences, and cinematic technology to recreate the feeling of a blockbuster movie in front of guests.
A similar approach would suit James Bond perfectly, with the franchise’s long history of spectacular stunts and practical filmmaking.
Will James Bond Be Part of Universal’s UK Resort?
There’s also a natural connection between James Bond and Universal’s upcoming UK resort.
The franchise has been a cornerstone of British entertainment for more than 60 years, beginning with Sean Connery’s debut as 007 in Dr. No (1962). Since then, Bond has become one of the country’s most recognizable cultural exports.
As Universal prepares to bring a major theme park destination to the UK, few franchises feel more fitting than Britain’s most famous secret agent.
For now, fans should keep expectations in check.
Universal has not announced a James Bond attraction for its UK resort, and there has been no confirmation that 007 will be included in any shape or form when the destination opens in 2031.
However, as James Bond enters its next era under Amazon MGM Studios, the franchise is already expanding in more ways than ever before.
