Disney Cruise Line has shared more details about a lounge coming to its Heroes and Villains-themed ship, which sets sail on its maiden voyage this November.
The Disney Destiny will take its maiden voyage from Port Everglades on November 20, 2025, with a limited season of inaugural sailings to follow. The Heroes and Villains-themed ship will feature a Black Panther Grand Hall statue and a Spider-Man stern character. Guests will have the opportunity to ally with their favorite characters on Team Heroes or Team Villains in the most magical adventure at sea!

On June 25, Disney Cruise Line shared more details about De Vil’s, a piano lounge on the Disney Destiny inspired by one of the most nefarious Disney Villains, Cruella de Vil. This 101 Dalmatians (1961)-themed space will be just off the ship’s Grand Hall, with a large, piano-key-inspired marquee welcoming guests.
Disney Cruise Line also shared a photo of a black-and-white tile mosaic reading “How Marvelous,” Cruella de Vil’s catchphrase. Located on the floor near the lounge entrance, the mosaic features 15 white pawprints inspired by Pongo and Perdita’s 15 original puppies.

Details inside the lounge will reflect Cruella de Vil’s uniquely luxurious style, with her trademark black-and-white spots and pops of deep red. The space will be full of uniquely shaped furniture with interesting textures and couture fabrics. The carpet will appear “ink-splotched and hand-drawn” as a tribute to Ken Anderson, the animator who oversaw the character designs of 101 Dalmatians.
Of course, no piano bar is complete without….you guessed it, a piano! Fittingly, the focal instrument at De Vil’s will be decorated with black-and-white spots. Disney Cruise Line shared a downloadable wallpaper of the pattern:

De Vil’s will serve “trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubblies,” including the Fashionista and the Fearless Sir Galahad.
Cruella de Vil herself will appear in two entertainment offerings on the Disney Destiny, including an interactive, runway-style show where the couture-obsessed Disney Villain will critique guests’ fashion know-how. She will also appear occasionally when her theme song, “Cruella de Vil,” plays, inviting guests to write their own, more flattering tributes to her.

The Disney Destiny is one of two new ships setting sail this year, alongside the Disney Adventure. Disney Cruise Line has also announced that four more ships will join its fleet between 2027 and 2031.
Adding to the Disney Villains fun around the world, Walt Disney World Resort recently announced plans to build a Disney Villains-themed land “beyond Big Thunder Mountain Railroad” in Magic Kingdom Park. As construction begins on the area, the Central Florida Disney park has introduced another Disney Villains-themed experience: the “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
