Theme park fans have excitedly tracked Epic Universe’s progress from a mound of dirt to the incredibly detailed themed lands. Now, with mere months to go before Epic Universe opens to the public, media, and team member previews have started, and we are getting the first real reviews of this new park.

While the media and team members are not allowed to provide too many specific details about the park, the reviews, including anonymous ones from team members, have been overwhelmingly great. Even content creators focusing on Walt Disney World have had great reviews of Epic Universe, and that’s a problem for Disney.

Although Universal has banned video and photography during the previews, the buzz is still real, and fans are desperate to get into the park on opening day.

This has been a master class in publicity that should have scared Disney World both about the future and taken notes on how Universal accomplished this feat. Universal has been so good that some influences are even ratting out others who are using unauthorized videos or photos.

And it appears that Universal may have no more surprises up its sleeve prior to Epic Universe’s opening. Social media has been buzzing over a rumor that Universal is currently putting the finishing touches on a documentary about Epic Universe, starting back in 2019 when the park was announced and ending with a tour of the new lands and attractions that guests will get to see in May.

Some fans even reported on social media that signs alerting guests that Universal was filming were popping up throughout the park during previews.

The overwhelming feedback from fans was positive, and rumor has it that it will be a full-length feature film. Fans are desperate to see inside the park but are also interested in the technology behind these fantastic new attractions.

It is unclear whether this documentary will air on NBC, Peacock, or both. Universal Studios has not made an official announcement about the documentary, but what better way to build buzz than to drop a last-minute inside look at their new park?
