Have you ever wondered how Walt Disney World Resort cast members handle biohazard spills on complicated theme park attractions? A Disney Park insider recently gave an example, revealing how employees clean up bodily fluids on the Tomorrowland Speedway attraction at Magic Kingdom Park.

Accidents happen, even in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Little ones’ routines are disrupted, leading to missed bathroom trips or vomiting episodes. When thousands of guests mingle in tight spaces, illnesses like norovirus spread. Although such moments can feel embarrassing, Disney cast members are experts at efficiently and discreetly handling biohazards at the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels.

During a recent discussion about maintenance issues on Walt Disney World Resort rides, Redditor u/angruss revealed how Disney cast members handle biohazards on the vehicles guests drive on the Tomorrowland Speedway. The Magic Kingdom Park attraction lets guests drive gas-powered vehicles along a rail on a lengthy outdoor track.

“If you ever see a Tomorrowland Speedway cast member riding on the outside gas pedal of an empty car to remove it from the track, it’s because a kid peed in that car,” the Disney Parks fan explained. “…[It could be] any biohazard material, but on Speedway it’s mostly pee.”

If you or a member of your family have any kind of medical episode or accident on a Disney Park attraction or in an indoor space, please alert the nearest Disney cast member so they can close the area for appropriate cleaning. Custodial cast members have access to industrial cleaning solutions that can safely sanitize the area and won’t make a spectacle of a sensitive moment.

For guests needing attentional medical attention or somewhere to clean up, First Aid and Baby Care Centers are available at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs.

What’s the grossest thing you’ve seen at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park? In the comments, share your story with Inside the Magic.
