A child nearly collided with a parade float at Walt Disney World Resort‘s Magic Kingdom Park in an incident captured on video. Fortunately, a quick-acting Disney cast member saved the day.
Child Runs Into Disney World Parade Route

Earlier this year, TikTok user @koryleepuckett shared a video of her daughter nearly colliding with a parade float at Walt Disney World Resort. The incident occurred moments after the little girl waved at Moana during the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade, a daily morning procession on Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom Park.
“She made a run for it,” the Disney Park guest wrote. “She would do anything for her Moana!”

In the video, the little girl waved at Moana from behind a yellow line taped on the road as her mother recorded the interaction from a few feet away. When Moana waved back, the girl ran into the road toward the moving parade float.

Fortunately, a Disney cast member standing just a few inches away intercepted the child, preventing her from being struck by the large moving vehicle. The mother also caught up and walked her child back behind the yellow line.
The clip drew immediate backlash, with some Disney Parks fans blaming the TikToker for focusing on filming rather than keeping a closer eye on her child. However, the creator eventually turned off the commenting feature, effectively deleting all discourse regarding the incident.

Fortunately, the child walked away from this incident uninjured, and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade continued as normal. The family doesn’t appear to have faced any consequences from Walt Disney World Resort after the child ran toward the moving parade at Magic Kingdom Park.
