The r@pe of the MK makes me sick. I have no plans to ever enter WDW again. I marvel how Inside The Magic bends over to stay on the good graces of the Disney overlords. It is sick how they are stripping everything near and deat to Walt and his love of Americana. Sick.
It can burn to the ground far as I’m concerned. Cars in the Frontier is one of the stupidest things I ever heard of. Never ever seen a race car in the Frontier I remembered. Money, that is what it is all about, not historical fact. What’s next, race boats in the Jungle Cruise.
I grew up when frontier land, Tony Sawyer and the steamboat were a big deal. I’ve been to the Magic Kingdom many times and have never experienced these attractions first hand. They just had no appeal. There’s nothing interesting or exciting there. The steamboat ride be very long because it goes in very short circle. I think it’s time for a change. I will certainly miss seeing those attractions just because they are part of the Magic Kingdom and have always been there.
Looking forward to the new rides.
I still have no idea why they had to get rid of Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island or Liberty Belle. They could easily have expanded the park. Not everyone wants fast and furious and not everyone can go on the fast rides. Getting on the Riverboat and hearing the whistle and the commentary was so soothing. I will mourn it’s loss forever.
Personally I miss a lot of the “Old Disney” like 20000 leagues sub ride, the original Tiki Room, and the sky liner across MK….. but as much as I miss them I do also enjoy the new parts. Sadly it seems there isn’t room to keep everything and just expand out from the core of the original MK. That would be awesome.

I have no interest in Cars Land ! I absolutely loved the calm pace of the Riverboat and will miss it always.
