Might as well drop Walt from his Disneyland wonder. There’s so many memories being trashed. And the introduction of hard liquor? They’ll be sorry. The Disneyland we grew up in was for children, which the addition of liquor, even wine or beer, was not welcomed. It’s gonna ruin the fun for kids.
We will never set foot in Disneyland again, even with our grandkids…we would weep.
I really can’t believe that liquor is being served so casually in the Magic Kingdom! MK was to be family oriented: no liquor or cigarettes to be sold. Too bad Disney executives see money over families. Imagine the drunkeness that this offers. Even as a shareholder, I am definitely not a fan of this move. 😡

As a Stock and Season Pass holder as well as DVC Member I truly believe Disney has lost its way. Too many major erasures and changes in the last 5 years.

Then sell your stock, don’t renew your passes and get rid of your DVC membership…otherwise, quit your complaining. Such a drama queen. Some people actually like the expansion, improvements and refreshes.

I don’t like the idea of liquor in MK. I don’t even like the idea of beer in MK. I don’t understand why people can’t go have a nice family vacation without alcohol. If you have to get drunk at Disney, your priorities are messed up.

No, because a beer is placed in front of you doesn’t mean you have to drink it or drink it to excess but do actually consider the children and set an example. No, they should not be served at Disney parks, especially if Walt Disney himself never intended it. Not too long ago, a story was posted on this site about a woman who was found drunk in a restroom and was escorted off the park by security. A video of the incident taken by another guest was posted as well. Alcoholic beverages lead to drunkenness. Drunkenness leads to drunk driving, drunk driving leads to someone getting injured or worse. This cannot be denied. And no, this does not set a good example for children.
If you want your alcohol, do your unethical drinking at home or at bars. Not at places intended for children and families who are looking to enjoy themselves without the need for alcohol
That would be great!! They can put it right next to your safe space so when you see a butterfly you have a place to go hide and cry. It’s all about inclusion.
