On July 16, Disneyland Resort announced that the Hatbox Ghost was taking up residence around Disneyland Park with a new popcorn bucket. The news came as part of a larger announcement about food and drink items coming to the Southern California Disney parks alongside the D23 Expo, which will take over the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 to August 16, 2026. In addition to the Haunted Mansion popcorn bucket, select locations throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District will also offer a Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Cake Pop beginning August 13, a Family Gold Ube Cheesecake between August 1 and August 16, Berry Bliss & Choco Crunch Duo between August 1 and August 16, and several specialty beverages between August 1 and August 16.
How to Get Your Haunted Mansion Popcorn Bucket
The Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket will be available at Disneyland Resort beginning August 13, 2026, while supplies last. Guests can bring the Hatbox Ghost home from Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, Harbour Galley, and select popcorn carts throughout Disneyland Park, as well as select popcorn carts throughout Disney California Adventure Park.
It’s unclear whether mobile order will be available. This item is expected to sell out quickly, so head to Disneyland Resort on August 13 to get one while you still can.
