After Disney fully acquired Hulu in 2025 they cancelled my add supported promotion rate over a month early. No way was Hulu worth it any more with a price increase to $12 a month for add supported Hulu only. They truly know how to destroy all they touch and price it outside most peoples range.
Agreed… and to add to that, people should never be paying money to watch ads. That’s the whole point of ads. You’re given completely free content in exchange for watching ads. That was the whole original point of ads during the middle of content watching.
Before Disney+ was the Disney Channel… I think back to my childhood about what made the Disney Channel great and in a nutshell – it was mostly the Disney Original Movies (and a few shows). I feel like Disney+ lacks in original content outside of The Mandalorian, and other Star Wars spin-off franchises…. Which quite honestly, are the only shows I can name that are exclusive to Disney +. They’re lacking content that resonates with this generation.
