In the early afternoon hours of Tuesday, June 9, authorities responded to reports of a fire in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort. This is the second response to a blaze at the original Central Florida Disney park in less than two days.

The attached Google Maps screenshot pinpoints the emergency response location just outside the borders of Magic Kingdom Park, near the bus depot and Minnie Van drop-off point along the walkway to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. However, it’s unclear if this actually corresponds to the location of the fire on Tuesday afternoon.

Walt Disney World Resort has not issued a statement about the incident. Guests should not expect any delays or operational impacts at Magic Kingdom Park from the reported fire on Tuesday afternoon. However, anyone who sees law enforcement activity at the Central Florida Disney parks is urged to avoid any barricaded areas and follow all instructions from authorities on the scene.
Second Incident in 48 Hours

This is the second fire reported at Magic Kingdom Park in less than two days. On Monday, June 8, @WDWActiveCrime logged a 911 call regarding a fire at the original Central Florida Disney park at 9:34 a.m.

The attached Google Maps screenshot here pinpoints the location of the fire near the Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland. Once again, though, it’s unclear whether this actually corresponds to the emergency response location.

Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor local authorities issued a statement about the fire alert on Monday morning. Operations at Be Our Guest continued normally, and the fire on Tuesday appears unrelated to the blaze the day before.
