Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, law enforcement received a 911 call about a fire at the Magic Kingdom. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, known for tracking police scanner activity in and around the Central Florida Disney parks, shared the call log in a post:

The attached Google Maps screenshot pinpoints the location of the fire backstage in Fantasyland, near the Be Our Guest restaurant. However, addresses in law enforcement call logs for the Central Florida Disney parks do not always correspond to the exact location where emergency responses occur. Local authorities often track scanner reports for the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and hotels using generalized addresses.

What Walt Disney World Resort Guests Need to Know

According to the My Disney Experience app, there are no operational impacts from the reported fire at Magic Kingdom Park on June 8. If the emergency response were in a backstage area, like a kitchen, Walt Disney World Resort is unlikely to share any additional information with guests.

As always, guests who witness a law enforcement, security, or other emergency response at the Central Florida Disney destination should avoid any blocked-off areas and follow all written or verbal instructions from authorities and Disney cast members. Walt Disney World Resort does its best to minimize the impact of incidents on its property on guests.
