On June 8, Walt Disney World Resort announced the menu and grand opening date for the new Quick-Service dining location in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT. This update comes just days after Disney cast members completed the roof and other decorative elements on the former Refreshment Port kiosk, which will soon be known as La Poutinerie. Construction walls around the building were also removed on Monday.

Everything We Know About New EPCOT World Showcase Restaurant

Refreshment Port, a Quick-Service dining location near the World Celebration entrance to the EPCOT World Showcase, closed for refurbishment in January. The restaurant was known for frozen treats like DOLE Whip, specialty poutines tied to various seasonal festivals, and standard Disney Park snacks. For months, Walt Disney World Resort declined to share its plans for the building.

Finally, in April, Walt Disney World Resort announced that the former Refreshment Port would be absorbed into the Canada World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, a new Quick-Service restaurant sponsored by Air Canada, would take over the space.

Over the last few months, Central Florida Disney Park guests have watched as cast members transformed the building into the new, Canadian-inspired restaurant. On Monday, Walt Disney World Resort finally revealed when EPCOT guests can visit La Poutinerie.

According to Walt Disney World Resort’s website, La Poutinerie will open in the Canada World Showcase Pavilion at EPCOT on July 1, 2026. The Quick-Service restaurant, which will be open for lunch and dinner, will offer the following menu items:

  • Québec: L’Authentique: French Fries, Cheese Curds, Brown Gravy ($10.99)

Also on Monday, the construction walls around the future La Poutinerie building came down. However, rolling planters still surround the building. WDWNT shared this first look at the upcoming restaurant, showing that the rock and roof work that was in progress last week appears to have been completed:
