Shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, law enforcement received a call about a vehicle crash with injuries in the EPCOT Resort area at Walt Disney World. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, who monitors police scanner activity around the Central Florida Disney parks, shared the call log:

The pinpoint on the attached Google Maps screenshot indicates the general area of the law enforcement response, not the location of the car crash.

It’s unclear how many people were injured in the crash, nor is there publicly available information about the severity of their injuries. Walt Disney World Resort and local law enforcement have not shared any further details about the accident. They are unlikely to do so unless any fatalities occur or criminal charges emerge.

What Central Florida Disney Park Guests Need to Know

Following the accident on Wednesday afternoon, no operational impacts were reported at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or Disney Springs. There may be some traffic delays in the EPCOT Resort area, but guests shouldn’t expect to notice other changes at Walt Disney World Resort following the law enforcement response.

In general, Disney Park guests who encounter security or law enforcement responses are encouraged to avoid blocked-off areas and follow all written or verbal instructions. Walt Disney World Resort does its best to limit the impacts of emergency responses on other guests and to preserve the privacy of those involved.
