You can build your own lightsaber for free! If you want to take it home with you it’ll still cost $250 which would buy a much better lightsaber at other sources, but we’re Disney so F U!
It seems that this is just a marketing ploy geared towards a demographic that is going to beg their parents to buy it for them. The free building is to get them in the door and then the kids will do the rest.
Ah rip that would have made up for my birthday when I went and couldn’t get in or the damn refund. Nothing like growing up on star wars and finally a park, or well section get make and you can build your own light saber. Where many people have build doubles, and those who can just throw money in a hole when ever they want, and i had one opportunity. Kinda cool the kids get in for free but really only if california. Gross. Events and other things should get away from california and come to a better state l. Like indiana.

Pure EVIL. What parent will be dumb enough to fall for this? “It’s A Trap.” Disney saying we’ll allow a small irrational child to build the lightsaber “for free”, knowing damn we’ll that they won’t want to return it. Forcing mom or dad into buying it to placate their screaming child.
I watched my daughter build one a couple of years ago. It was ok. But I would rather buy one of the character’s lightsaber hills instead. Also they are cheaper than $250.
