On Wednesday afternoon, Walt Disney World Resort filed a construction permit for Aloha Isle, a Quick-Service dining location in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park. Although DOLE Whip has recently made its way to several restaurants around the Central Florida Disney parks and hotels, the stand next to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is the original spot to get the dairy-free pineapple soft serve.
Construction Permit for DOLE Whip Stand at Magic Kingdom Park

On April 15, Walt Disney Imagineering filed a Notice of Commencement with the Orange County Comptroller to “Install Signage” at 4861 Caribbean Way, the address of the Aloha Isle Quick-Service dining location. The filing lists Kentavo as the third-party contractor involved in the project.
Kentavo has worked on several projects at Walt Disney World Resort recently. The park recently filed other permits for the company to “Install Signage” at “it’s a small world” in Magic Kingdom Park and the Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Permits filed by Walt Disney Imagineering rather than Walt Disney World Resort’s Facility Asset Management Team typically indicate more involved guest-facing changes at the theme parks. However, Disney may simply be updating the branding at the Adventureland snack stand rather than making any significant updates to the experience.
Impact on Aloha Isle Operations

As of the filing of this Notice of Commencement, Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t announced any plans to close Ahola Isle or reduce its menu. The Quick-Service dining location in Adventureland will likely remain open throughout the project’s duration, though Magic Kingdom Park guests may notice some construction walls or other temporary changes.
Aloha Isle has one of the smallest menus at the Central Florida Disney parks. It serves the Tropical Serenade Float ($8.29), the DOLE Whip Pineapple Juice Float ($7.29), DOLE Whip pineapple, vanilla, or swirl Soft-Serve Cup ($5.99), and Pineapple Upside-Down Cake served with your choice of Soft-Serve ($7.49).
Mobile Ordering is available in the My Disney Experience app, a great option for families hoping to save time during the upcoming construction at Magic Kingdom Park.
