Another accident was reported at a Disney park this morning.

Accidents can happen anywhere – including the Happiest Place on Earth. Over the years, guests and cast members alike have experienced everything from accidental falls to violent encounters with their fellow parkgoers.

Most recently, we’ve seen a cast member hospitalized after bravely standing in the way of a 400-pound rubber boulder that broke free of its track and rolled towards audiences watching Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

An incident was also reported by guests at Disneyland Resort earlier this week. As per one visitor, a man began beating an older man “senselessly for about a minute” while in line for Indiana Jones Adventure. The perpetrator apparently fled the scene, with cast members subsequently seen scrubbing blood off the floor in multiple areas of the queue.

Guest Knocked Out at Walt Disney Studios Park Today

Another incident was reported from a different Disney park today.

According to a guest on Reddit, a man was knocked out at Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to become Disney Adventure World) during Extra Magic Hours.

“At the beginning of extra magic hour an adult slipped and, I think, knocked themselves out on the ice,” the guest wrote. “It happened outside [Crush’s Coaster], just as the parks opened for EMH. I haven’t seen anything on here about them – I hope they’re okay.”

The parkgoer went on to claim that cast members covered the guest with a tent and closed the entire area surrounding Crush’s Coaster and the neighboring Les Tapis Volants – Flying Carpets Over Agrabah.

Disneyland Paris is experiencing a frosty spell right now, with temperatures plummeting as low as 26 degrees Fahrenheit in the area. Paris is also under a yellow snow and ice warning.

As other guests have noted, the area around Crush’s Coaster can become frantic during Extra Magic Hours. With wait times often exceeding an hour during the regular operating day, the early entry window offers a rare chance to experience the popular indoor spinning coaster with a shorter queue.

Crowds plus icy surfaces are a dangerous combination, meaning extra caution is advised when moving through the area today.

Walt Disney Studios Park’s Ongoing Transformation

Hopefully, the crowding situation at Walt Disney Studios Park will dissipate in the coming months as the park prepares to expand its footprint.

In March, it will debut its newest land, World of Frozen. Much like the version found at Hong Kong Disneyland, this will feature Frozen Ever After, plus a slew of dining and shopping locations.

The park – which will adopt its new name, Disney Adventure World, once the land opens – will also welcome a new Tangled (2010) attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin.

In the coming years, it will welcome additional new attractions, including a swing ride inspired by Up (2009) and an entire land based on The Lion King (1994). This will come complete with a Pride Rock water attraction similar to Splash Mountain.
