A Walt Disney World Resort vacation is meant to be magical and memorable, full of enjoyment and happiness. But for some guests visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth this past three months, it was certainly not the joyous occasion they expected it to be.

Every quarter, the theme park incident report drops, revealing any accidents, injuries, and–in the case of this quarter–fatalities at Central Florida resorts. When it comes to the period of August to October 2025, four incidents were reported for the Walt Disney World Resort, including multiple head injuries.

The incidents reported at the Walt Disney World Resort spanned three of the destination’s six theme parks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In this quarter, no incidents were reported for Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Magic Kingdom Park, and EPCOT.

The four incidents include a 56-year-old female guest who was struck on the head by another guest while experiencing the popular wave pool attraction at Typhoon Lagoon in late July. Also at the water park, a 44-year-old female fell and struck her head while exiting the Miss Adventure Falls experience in mid-August.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a 50-year-old male felt chest pain upon exiting the Toy Story Mania! attraction in the Toy Story Land location at the park. The incident happened in early September. That same month, a 77-year-old female guest fell while exiting the Na’vi River Journey water attraction in Pandora–The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

During this same quarterly period, neither Busch Gardens nor Legoland reported any incidents, but SeaWorld Orlando Resort reported one, while Universal Orlando Resort listed seven, including the tragic fatality of a guest who passed away after riding Stardust Racers in Universal Epic Universe.

While Stardust Racers reopened at Epic Universe on October 4, the family of the deceased Kevin Rodriguez Zavala continues their lawsuit against Universal. Upon its reopening, Universal Orlando Resort updated its safety guidelines for the attraction, making changes to its accessibility.
