The Holiday Season is starting to creep up on all of us, and while Disney World is still in full Halloween mode, the parks are itching to start their Christmas preparations. They’ll hold off until early November at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, but the Holidays won’t take over EPCOT until after Thanksgiving this year.

Disney needs those two parks to be in Holiday mode to prepare for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. Fans are eagerly anticipating those after-hours parties and much more at Disney World this Holiday Season, and to get them ready, Disney just dropped some new information to help them prepare for the upcoming season.
Disney just released its park hours for the remainder of the year, which includes the Holiday season through January 2, 2026. While Disney World has extended some of its hours at the parks, they have mostly remained the same, but that’s not necessarily a reason to worry, yet.

The hours released today are the exact same hours as the ones the parks were using last week, with one exception: EPCOT is extending its closing time to 9:30 p.m. from 9. While this may seem like a cause for concern to those heading to the parks over the holidays, there’s no need to freak out.
Disney has a habit of using placeholder hours on its website and on its app until it has time to judge the crowd sizes and hotel bookings for that week. Once they understand the crowds better, Disney usually increases its hours during the Holiday Season.

There is also a slight issue with the hours over the next few months. Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom will close at 6 p.m. for guests who do not have a ticket for Jollywood Nights or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. So, that’s something to keep in mind for the weeks leading up to the holidays.
So, the hours may not be what you want right now, but that will most likely change in the coming weeks—no need to freak out just yet, Disney fans.
