Disney has finally confirmed more information for the replacement of a 10-year-old festive theme park tradition.

Across the globe, Disney’s parks are known for elaborate holiday celebrations. From the celebrity-heavy Candlelight Processional at EPCOT and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, to snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland in California, the company leans into the season with unique parades, fireworks, stage shows, and limited-time food and merchandise that have become traditions for many fans.

Tokyo Disney Resort has long distinguished itself with seasonal offerings. Its Christmas celebrations typically include ornate decorations, themed merchandise, specialty dining, and entertainment designed specifically for Japanese audiences. For 10 years, the Disney Christmas Stories Parade at Tokyo Disneyland was a centerpiece of the holiday, drawing crowds year after year until its retirement at the end of 2024.

Disney Confirms A New Holiday Parade

The resort has now confirmed that a new parade titled Toys Wondrous Christmas will debut on November 11, 2025, and run through December 25. The entertainment will showcase toys made by Santa Claus and his elves as they appear with Disney characters to help make children’s holiday wishes come true.

Tokyo Disney Resort (which is technically owned by The Oriental Land Company and operated via a licensing deal with Disney) has since shared promotional art of the parade, confirming that guests can expect vibrant floats featuring an abundance of teddy bears and colorful floats, all brought to life with music and performance.

“Santa Claus and the elves have been busy at the toy factory, getting toys ready for the children who sent in Christmas letters,” Tokyo Disney Resort says on its website. Now, fresh from the factory, the toys join Mickey Mouse and his friends for a fun-filled and magical parade.

The new parade comes through sponsorship from Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. (JAL) and Oriental Land Co., Ltd. This marks the seventh time JAL has supported a Tokyo Disneyland parade. The airline also operates two major facilities at the resort: the Fantasyland Forest Theater at Tokyo Disneyland and the Broadway Music Theater at Tokyo DisneySea.

For those who want an upgraded experience, premium parade seating for Toys Wondrous Christmas will be available at 2,500 yen ($16.92) per person. This Premier Access option allows guests reserved views of the parade, ensuring they don’t miss a single second of the seasonal spectacle.

Fans who visit Tokyo Disneyland during the holiday season in 2025 will be the first to experience the parade’s debut. Other highlights for the season include Starbright Christmas, a festive fireworks display visible from both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Country Bear Theater Jingle Bell Jamboree, Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare, and the festive character moment, Disney Christmas Greeting, at Tokyo DisneySea’s Mediterranean Harbor.
