Mickey Mouse recently packed his bags, making an official move to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to celebrate an annual event with some of his biggest fans.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are best known for entertaining fans on screen or at Disney parks, such as Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. But the iconic duo occasionally travels beyond Florida and California for special events. For example, they help make Chicago’s Christmas lights sparkle each year by appearing in the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade. Earlier this summer, they traveled with a Disneyland70-themed hot air balloon, bringing Disneyland Resort’s anniversary magic to several locations in Texas.

From August 13 to 24, 2025, Mickey Mouse brought the magic to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to help celebrate the Little League World Series. ESPN, which is owned by The Walt Disney Company, collaborated with the Little League World Series to bring exclusive interactive experiences and giveaways to the tournament. Fans could pose with an ESPN Sports Forever photo op, snag exclusive ESPN x Little League Baseball Mickey Mouse pins and ESPN Sports Forever temporary tattoos, or enjoy surprise meet-and-greets with ESPN talent, other special guests, and even Mickey Mouse himself–wearing a baseball uniform, of course.
Just like he did last year, Mickey Mouse threw out the first pitch at the Little League World Series on Sunday, August 24. @DrewDisneyDude shared this video of the moment on X (formerly known as Twitter):
Now pitching at the Little League World Series: Mickey Mouse! ⚾️
Disney-owned ABC has broadcast the Little League World Series since 1963. This year, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan) took home the trophy, winning the final game against Nevada for the country’s first title since 1996. In 2024, the winning team marched in a parade at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park–it’s unclear whether Disney will continue that tradition this year.
