A video has gone viral showing a man climbing and jumping from the second-tallest roller coaster in the world, Red Force in Ferrari Land at PortAventura World in Salou, Catalonia, Spain. The man reportedly hid in the park until it closed, and waited until no one was around to scale the 367-foot-tall attraction.
Red Force was the tallest roller coaster in the world after Six Flags Great Adventure shut down Kingda Ka. It was dethroned in the spring of 2024 when Cedar Point introduced Top Thrill 2, which is 420 feet tall and has a 400-foot drop.

Earlier this year, a video of a man climbing and parachuting from the top of Red Force went viral on Instagram. It was shared by @i_cperez, who wrote, “crazy things people do for views.”
The video amassed over 200,000 likes and countless comments. Of course, many people admonished the jumper, but some users were impressed with the man’s bravery. Others argued that he would’ve parachuted from the roller coaster even if social media didn’t exist.
“I doubt he cares about the views as much as he cares about the rush,” said @gtrg2. “Bro would be doing this with or without a camera.”

“Just bc it’s on social media doesn’t mean it’s for views,” @sam_harwin agreed.
As it turns out, the video is from the summer of 2022. George King, 22, was arrested after climbing and parachuting from the Red Force roller coaster in Ferrari Land at PortAventura World. He was not injured.

According to reports, King landed in a nearby parking lot, where he was immediately confronted by local law enforcement and PortAventura World security. He was warned that performing a similar stunt in Spain again could result in prison time.
