For more than a decade, Disney and Starbucks have enjoyed a partnership that blends caffeine with magic. Before Starbucks arrived, Walt Disney World relied on Nescafe coffee, which was hardly beloved by fans.
The arrival of Starbucks inside the parks and at Disney Springs changed that. Though some longtime fans initially pushed back, arguing that Main Street or other themed areas would lose their charm, the majority of guests welcomed the addition with open arms—and long lines.

Today, Starbucks is an essential part of a Disney trip. Whether it’s grabbing an iced coffee before rope drop at Magic Kingdom or picking up a Frappuccino on the way out of EPCOT, the brand has become as much a part of the Disney experience as Mickey pretzels or Dole Whip.
A Fresh Look at Disney Springs’ West Side Starbucks
Disney recently confirmed the reopening of its West Side Starbucks at Disney Springs after a months-long closure for refurbishment, which Inside the Magic covered. The coffee shop, which originally opened in 2014, shut down in March for an extensive redesign.
Guests heading to the West Side near the Aerophile balloon will now notice a sleek, modern exterior with floor-to-ceiling windows and vibrant greenery welcoming visitors back.
Inside, the space has been completely reimagined. The new layout is designed to handle heavy crowds, something this location has always struggled with. Murals featuring animals like elephants, tigers, and birds now brighten the interior, along with colorful floral artwork that stretches across the ordering station and seating areas. A world-map–style mural with intricate, raised floral designs adds to the fresh atmosphere.

Guests will also find practical improvements, including a new mobile order system with a dedicated pickup area to help streamline the experience. The location remains one of the largest Starbucks shops at Disney World, clocking in at around 4,000 square feet, and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Several guests have commented on the opening of the Starbucks:
“I’m glad it’s finally back open, you can never have too many Starbucks,” one reader shared.
Another said that Starbucks is an essential part of their trip.
“No matter what we’re doing, we have to have Starbucks to start the day,” they said.
Where You Can Find Starbucks in Disney World
Disney World has fully embraced Starbucks, with at least one location in every park and two more at Disney Springs. Here’s where you can grab your favorite coffee on property:
-
Magic Kingdom – Main Street Bakery, halfway up Main Street U.S.A. on the right side if you’re facing Cinderella Castle.
-
EPCOT – Connections Café & Eatery, located near Spaceship Earth.
-
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Trolley Car Café, found at the intersection of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards.
-
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Creature Comforts, located along the path toward Africa.
-
Disney Springs – Two locations: the newly refurbished West Side store and the Marketplace walk-up window near World of Disney.
The in-park Starbucks locations don’t use the Starbucks name directly, instead operating under themed titles like Main Street Bakery or Trolley Car Café. Despite that, they function just like traditional Starbucks locations, accepting Starbucks gift cards, the Starbucks app, and even offering Disney-specific “Been There” mugs for collectors.

Starbucks and the Disney Experience
With the reopening of the Disney Springs West Side Starbucks, fans can once again enjoy both of the resort’s full-service corporate Starbucks locations. For many, it’s not just about caffeine but also about comfort, consistency, and even a little collecting—those mugs and tumblers have become coveted souvenirs.
Disney’s partnership with Starbucks has reached the point where it’s difficult to imagine the parks without it. And now that the freshly renovated West Side location is back in business, Disney World visitors can count on even more magical mornings, afternoons, and late-night coffee runs.
