Here are a few things we find annoying about Disney World’s second-oldest theme park.
The Walking

Look, we love how big and expansive EPCOT is, but we would be lying if we didn’t sometimes get annoyed by just how much walking is required while visiting the park. EPCOT spans roughly 300 acres, over double the size of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is larger still at roughly 580 acres, but a lot of that park’s land is unusable by guests. EPCOT features four distinct sections for guests to enjoy: World Celebration, World Nature, World Discovery, and World Showcase, and each is fully explorable to guests.
The World Showcase is the largest of the bunch, featuring 11 different bite-sized countries for guests to explore. This area offers a ton of dining, attractions, and shows, but guests had better be prepared to walk if they want to see it all.
The Lack of Thrill Rides

EPCOT is known for its classic attractions and iconic locations, but the park focuses more on quality than quantity. Guests won’t find a ton of thrill rides or dark rides at EPCOT. This has changed in recent years, namely with the addition of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which is often considered one of the best roller coasters at Walt Disney World.
However, aside from this one coaster, Test Track, and Soarin’, EPCOT’s pickings are pretty slim. The park is more centered around educational and cultural experiences, and as such, guests are encouraged to explore rather than just ride.
The Wait Times

While this isn’t a problem exclusive to EPCOT, the park certainly has a few attractions that demand intense wait times. Rides like the previously mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and others like Frozen Ever After often see over an hour wait on any given day.
The same can be said for other attractions like Soarin’, Test Track, and Spaceship Earth, depending on the season and day of the week.
All in all, EPCOT is a fantastic place to spend the morning, day, or night, and while there are a few things we find annoying, the park as a whole is an incredible experience we highly recommend.
