A staple of Disney World’s Star Wars land has received an update.

Walt Disney World is home to dozens of unforgettable rides, attractions, and locations, though Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge continues to be one of the resort’s most popular locations. The Star Wars-themed land features two major “E-ticket” attractions, as well as places to grab a bite to eat, create droids, and build custom lightsabers.
Part of what makes Galaxy’s Edge such a hit is its themed entertainment and merchandise. In order to truly transport guests onto the fictional planet of Batuu, Disney made sure everything, from the bathroom sinks to the doors, were themed. This extends to Galaxy’s Edge concessions, with Coca-Cola products featuring their own unique Star Wars design.
Drinks like Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, and Dasani water all have unique bottle designs that can only be found in Galaxy’s Edge. To sell the illusion even further, the branding and words are written in aurebesh, the fictional language created for the Star Wars universe.
Disney recently upgraded the Dasani bottle design, enhancing the colors. The refresh debuted earlier this summer, with Disney parks news site BlogMickey sharing a photo on X.

Aside from the alien writing on the front, the Dasani water bottle doesn’t look all that “out-of-this-world.” However, the Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Diet Coke bottles are designed to look like thermal detonators. These containers were immensely popular during Galaxy’s Edge’s first few months, selling on second-hand sites like eBay for far more than they initially cost.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019 and marked a turning point not just for The Walt Disney Company but for the entire theme park industry. Disney had dipped its toes into the world of highly immersive, themed lands back in 2017 with Pandora—The World of Avatar, setting its sights on the Star Wars universe for its next big undertaking.
Galaxy’s Edge was advertised as one of Disney’s most impressive and detailed theme park experiences to date. The land is home to rides, attractions, shops, restaurants, and other locations to enjoy and explore. The highlight for many guests is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
This ultra-immersive, highly-themed dark ride places guests in the middle of their own Star Wars adventure as they attempt to escape the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order.
