Disney dropped a sleigh full of holiday news this week, revealing everything from the return of the Jingle Cruise to the sparkling “Frozen Holiday Surprise” at Cinderella Castle.

The 2025 Christmas season at Walt Disney World is shaping up to be merry, bright, and packed with returning entertainment and festive offerings across all four parks. But for one group of loyal guests—Annual Passholders—something was noticeably missing.

Despite a detailed preview of holiday offerings published on July 8 by Disney Parks Blog, nowhere in the announcement was there a mention of the Annual Passholder holiday discount. That little perk has been a staple for the last several years, especially for fans hoping to grab discounted tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or save a few bucks on a seasonal resort stay.

While the blog was bursting with excitement and details about what’s coming, it was completely silent on the AP discount front.

To be fair, the announcement didn’t include party ticket prices or official event dates either—those are expected to come soon. But the lack of any mention of Passholder-specific offers has still raised a few eyebrows. In years past, even teaser announcements included a nod to Passholders, a gesture that often signaled more information to come. This time, not even a hint.

This could very well be a case of “more info coming later,” and that wouldn’t be surprising. It’s not uncommon for Disney to stagger information rollouts, especially when they’re juggling big crowd-drawing events like Jollywood Nights, Festival of the Holidays, and deluxe resort offerings. But the delay in mentioning AP perks at all is what feels different.

For Annual Passholders, this uncertainty adds a layer of stress to what’s already a competitive planning window. Resort deals go fast, especially during the holidays. And if discounted party tickets are even slightly limited this year, waiting too long could mean missing out entirely. Some fans are already speculating online that Disney might be tightening the reins on AP benefits—or at least making them harder to access.

It’s worth watching what Disney announces in the coming days. If they do end up releasing discounted tickets or special offers for Passholders, great. But if they don’t? That would mark a quiet shift in how Disney treats one of its most loyal groups of guests during the busiest and most magical time of year.

Until we know more, all Passholders can do is wait—and hope they’re not being left off the guest list this Christmas.
