Netflix has confirmed that the hit animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory has been renewed for a fourth season, which premieres on the platform on November 20.
Chaos Theory is the follow-up to the original animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Set several years after its predecessor, it follows “The Nublar Six” (the nickname given to the teen survivors of Isla Nublar following the 2015 Jurassic World incident), who are this time older, wiser, and more prepared for dinosaur action and deadly human villains.

Darius Bowman (Paul-Mikél Williams), Ben Pincus (Sean Giambrone), Yasmina Fadoula (Kausar Mohammed), Kenji Kon (Darren Barnet), Sammy Gutierrez (Raini Rodriguez), and Brooklynn (Kiersten Kelly) return to uncover a global conspiracy involving the illegal trade of dinosaurs, which are flourishing all around the world after being released at the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), which Chaos Theory takes place sometime after.
The latest season, however, which premiered earlier this year, overlaps with the events of the latest sequel Jurassic World Dominion, interweaving thrilling scenes with the 2022 film’s Malta setting, home to the underground dinosaur black market. The series ends with the lead characters making a beeline for Biosyn Valley, where Dominion‘s third act takes place.

So Season 4 could easily see well-known characters from the films, such as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, make their live-action debut. While it’s highly unlikely Hollywood actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their respective roles, Chaos Theory has seen the return of Dichen Lachman as Dominion‘s black market dealer Soyona Santos.
Either way, the Season 4 announcement comes just as the new film Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) is about to hit theaters.
Starring Scarlett Johansson of Marvel Cinematic Universe fame as the lead, the film centers on new characters, a new mission, a new island, and deadly new dinosaurs (mutated ones).

Where Can I Watch Chaos Theory and Rebirth?
All three seasons of Chaos Theory and all five seasons of Camp Cretaceous are streaming on Netflix. Jurassic World Rebirth hits theaters on July 2.
Rebirth stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame), Jonathan Bailey (Wicked), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Mahershala Ali (The Green Book), with a supporting cast that includes Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (Dead Boy Detectives), Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs Lopez), Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool).

More Jurassic World Sequels Are on the Way
Chaos Theory and Rebirth aren’t the only Jurassic sequels coming our way.
The first-person action-adventure video game “Jurassic Park: Survival” , which takes place 24 hours after the 1993 film, is another. While it’s still in development and with no release window confirmed yet, another game, “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, the next installment in the hugely popular park management simulation series, releases on October 21 this year.
