There’s not really a “bad” time of the year to visit the Disney theme parks, though certain holidays do add to the magic. Guests lucky enough to step foot into Magic Kingdom during Christmas and/or New Year’s Eve will find all kinds of incredible, limited-time experiences and activities to enjoy, alongside festive decor.
This is also true for Halloween, when Walt Disney World and Disneyland transform into spook-filled, candy-coated getaways. Halloween at Disneyland is especially exciting thanks to the resort’s annual party, Oogie Boogie Bash. Here, guests can explore all kinds of fun and unique activities and events, including social versions of classic attractions.
However, guests planning on attending in 2025 should be prepared to spend more than they did last time, as ticket prices have increased.

At the beginning, tickets were priced at $110 to $145.
This is hardly just a West Coast problem, as Disney has also increased the cost of Walt Disney World’s annual Halloween event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Guests can expect to spend anywhere from $119 to $230 for tickets in 2025.
In recent years, prices have increased practically across the board at the Disney theme parks, with everything from hotels to park tickets growing more expensive. Disney has deployed several special deals and limited-time offers to help guests cut down on the cost of a Disney vacation, including free admission to its water parks in Florida and DVC discounts.
