Following the news that Universal Studios Great Britain is underway with a projected 2031 opening, a new Jurassic World experience also heading to the UK now has an official teaser. The experience’s name? Well, it looks amazing, but it leaves little to the imagination.

Jurassic World: The Experience is the successor to the fairly recent Jurassic World: The Exhibition, which graced venues from London Excel to Manchester’s Trafford Center over the past few years, as well as other locations worldwide, including Berlin, Germany.

Having undertaken a subtle rebranding, the experience is expected to feature dinosaurs that did not appear in the previous walk-through, which included Brachiosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Indominus Rex, and Velociraptors. Among the new species is Carnotaurus.

Set to open its gates at NEON at Battersea Power Station on May 22, Jurassic World: The Experience comes amid news that Universal is building a massive theme park resort in Bedfordshire, UK.

Mirroring the other six resorts worldwide, Universal Studios GB will be made up of attractions and themed lands based on popular franchises, which are rumored to be James BondLord of the Rings, Paddington Bear, Back to the Future, Minions, and, unsurprisingly, Jurassic World.

Of course, the new resort is years away, but at least Jurassic theme park enthusiasts can get their fix from the new NEON experience.

Jurassic World: The Experience is a highly-detailed, walk-through exhibition populated with state-of-the-art animatronic dinosaurs where guests can “walk across the iconic Jurassic gates,” “explore the land of gentle giants,” meet “adorable baby dinosaurs,” and “come face to face with life-size predators.”

“An exciting adventure awaits” the description on the official website says. “Step through the iconic Jurassic World gates and begin an unforgettable journey across 10 immersive zones that brings to life one of the biggest blockbuster franchises in cinema history.”

Inspired by 2015’s blockbuster Jurassic World, the experience immerses guests into the titular dinosaur-filled theme park resort located on the fictitious Costa Rican island Isla Nublar. The description also promises a “ferry” ride to the island, and walk-throughs where guests can marvel not only at dinosaurs but the Gyrosphere vehicles from the film:

“Board the ferry to Isla Nublar and pass through the towering gates of Jurassic World. Walk beneath the shadow of a majestic Brachiosaurus, come face to face with fierce Velociraptors, venture into the Valley of the Gyrospheres, take a selfie with a baby dinosaur, then brace yourself for the ultimate heart-pounding moment: a close encounter with the most legendary predator of them all… the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex.”

Meanwhile, a second Jurassic experience with the same name is also set to open its gates later this month. Also produced by Neon, Jurassic World: The Experience Singapore opens at Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, on May 29.

Jurassic World Rebirth Arrives Soon

Fans of the franchise who are unable to visit Jurassic World: The Experience can at least check out the upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) when it hits theaters on July 2.

It stars Scarlett Johansson (Avengers: Endgame), Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Rupert Friend (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Mahershala Ali (The Green Book), Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (Dead Boy Detectives), Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs Lopez), Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool).
