As of February 4, 2025, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is closed at Disneyland Paris. This closure is nothing to wave a lightsaber at, as Star Tours is not scheduled to reopen until March 1. This means guests will have to go without Star Tours for at least a month, assuming everything goes according to plan.
As PixieDust.be reports, the last time the attraction underwent a significant renovation was in 2017, when Star Tours received new scenes and 3D effects. This update also allowed guests to experience Star Tours in English upon request.
It’s unknown what will happen with Star Tours during this closure. The ride’s gift shop, Star Traders, is also closed until the beginning of March.

The first iteration of Star Tours officially opened in 1987 at the original Disneyland Resort in California. This was the first theme park collaboration between Disney and franchise creator George Lucas, with the two later collaborating on other attractions like Indiana Jones Adventure.
At the time, Star Tours was a state-of-the-art attraction that planted guests right in the middle of their very own Star Wars story. Blending an immersive on-ride experience with stunning visuals, Star Tours instantly became a hit and has remained a classic ever since.
However, this is not to say that the ride did not undergo major changes over the last few decades, with Star Tours receiving a huge facelift in 2011.
Now called Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, guests never really know where they will visit or who they may encounter during their trip, as multiple sequences are randomly selected, making each ride unique. Guests have the chance to meet numerous iconic Star Wars characters, both from George Lucas’ original series and Disney’s sequel trilogy.
