The fact that it’s a hoax and Disney has no right to remove the Rivers of America or anything Americana from the parks. No announcement was ever made at anytime at D23 due to Josh D’Amaro getting rushed off the stage because of booing and hostile fans, ending the parks presentation prematurely. And I have a little something called a Time Machine and can confirm as I was there for WDW’s 75th in 2046 that the Rivers of America, the Liberty Belle, and Splash Mountain are all still there and the whole Iger era has been retconned and erased with the whole Disney Company having been broken up like Standard Oil, shrinking the company back to what it was in the 1980s.
If only “steve” was real. He’s just as real as “Anne” (her other account in the ItM comments). Although, I like “steve” a lot better than “Anne”.
Anyway, too bad he’s not real. His character is a time traveler that (somehow) takes over Disney; and is bring it back to WALT’s Disney.
I guess now that Iger bowed down to DeSantis (who is owned by President “convicted felon Donald J. Trump”) — and paid his $15,000,000 membership fees to President “convicted Donald J. Trump” — the films won’t be EXTREME “Woke” (as the media and social media use that term), anymore. Not that I’ve noticed their films being overly that much (other than Snow Woke). Perhaps a couple other series/films…sort of. Nothing really, though.
Yes perfect decision. Instead of expanding the Magic Kingdom to accommodate the larger crowds we are told are there – destroy anything original and tied to Walt’s specific design. The added benefit is that it destroys any connection to Americana and a tribute that period. So sad these evil (yes evil) idiots are in charge. But there is life after Disney
Cars is still relevant? Or is Disney trying to just keep it alive by forcing it.
Disney doesn’t get it. People took the paddlewheel just to have a quiet break. People say in the pavilion to enjoy the view and have a bit of quiet.
People didn’t “lose interest”. Disney just continually had the boat not running. But people still sat at the pavilion to rest, to eat, or to relax for a few min. And when Disnydid bother to have the boat running, it was always full any time I was on.
Funny….. Supposedly Cars is still so popular, yet except for the Parks, you don’t find much in the stores anymore. In fact, I found my Cars stuffies for my Disney collection, in a dumpster at a storage facility.
No Cars is coming. In 2046 for the 75th anniversary of WDW I’ll be enjoying the Rivers of America and Splash Mountain in a park that has been made great again and dragged back to the 1980s under management that asks “What would Walt do?” again and keeps the parks frozen in time and space. By then Disney will have long been broken up like Standard Oil and Ma Bell were and Pixar will have long gone bankrupt with all animated films hand drawn again.

Oh I am real and am a fourth generation military man with a forefather who marched to the sea with Sherman. I’ve got family in Congress.
