The cast members and characters work hard to make every moment magical and create lasting memories. And with more than four hundred dining spots to choose from, there are mouthwatering meals that fit every budget and every palate.
Right now, Disney World is in the middle of celebrating the holiday season, and there are so many fun things to do to get into the spirit of the season.
Guests can purchase a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And over at EPCOT, the International Festival of the Holidays offers amazing food from around and world and even a Holiday Cookie Stroll!

Typically, EPCOT food festivals are top-notch, and a bad dish is rare. However, not everything can be perfect and not every offering can be a win. But one guest’s recent experience left others speechless, shaking their heads in disbelief. Mainly because the problem was completely avoidable.
In addition to the food booths found throughout the World Showcase, many EPCOT dining locations have specialty dishes.
Sunshine Seasons—located in the Land Pavilion — is a quick-service spot that offers everything from Birria Tacos to Mongolian Beef, Oak-Grilled Salmon, and Pepperoni Pizza Rolls. As part of the Holiday Cookie Stroll this year, guests can purchase a giant peanut butter cookie topped with peanut butter frosting and mini M&Ms.

While the picture made the cookie look absolutely scrumptious and a must-have, the actual cookie left a lot to be desired. X (formerly Twitter) user FiBelleFi shared a photo, and instead of each cookie having enough frosting to enjoy some with every bite, it looks like the pastry chefs ran out of frosting and were trying to be as frugal as possible without leaving it off altogether.

Commenters could not believe that someone at Disney allowed those cookies to go out looking so subpar. Especially when guests could easily see the picture and know what they were supposed to be getting.
The pastry chef who made that first image, if they saw the ones on the right, they would legit find out who, through the ladder, DID THAT. And they would make it cease. They would say “Disney can afford it. Whoever told you to do this? Ignore them. I’M telling you do it this way”
It seems odd that Disney’s talented pastry chefs would feel comfortable letting the cookies go out, knowing that they didn’t look like they were supposed to. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, and future batches of the cookies will make guests feel like they are getting what they expect and what they are paying for.
