Holiday crowds have officially descended on Walt Disney World Resort, and the attraction wait times at Magic Kingdom Park prove it.

The week between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve is historically one of the busiest at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Many Annual Passholder tiers are blocked out, and Disney Park Pass reservations are sold out on several dates. Magic Kingdom Park often hits capacity on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, and guests whose tickets didn’t require Park Pass reservations are turned away.

In the days leading up to the busiest time of the year at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Disney Park guests shared their experiences on social media. Redditor u/Fally11204 shared this screenshot of Magic Kingdom Park wait times from the My Disney Experience app.

Wait times peaked at 95 minutes for TRON Lightcycle / Run, 75 minutes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Jingle Cruise, and 60 minutes for Space Mountain and Peter Pan’s Flight. Guests waited up to 50 minutes to meet Tiana and another Disney Princess at Fantasyland’s Princess Fairytale Hall.

The night this was posted, Disney Jollywood Nights took over Disney’s Hollywood Studios, locking non-ticketed guests out of the theme park. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park closes early in the winter, making Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT the only options for nighttime Dinsey Park guests.

Walt Disney World Resort guests are shelling out hundreds of dollars to avoid these wait times. As Inside the Magic reported on Sunday, the pricey Lightning Lane Premier Pass has sold out for every day from December 25 to 31–except December 26. This service costs up to $449 and is only available to Disney Resort hotel guests up to 21 days in advance.
