Years after playing Loki, one Marvel alumnus has revealed that he’s currently homeless in an emotional plea on TikTok.
Marvel’s TV shows have been a mixed bag, but Loki remains one of the standouts with fans and critics alike. Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), the show currently holds a solid 87% score on Rotten Tomatoes after two seasons on Disney+.

While the series focuses on the Loki (Tom Hiddleston) viewers know and love from the likes of Thor (2011) and The Avengers (2012), its Multiverse plotline also enabled the introduction of many other variants of the God of Mischief – including Alligator Loki, Classic Loki, Sylvie (one of the show’s main characters), and Kid Loki.
Portrayed by Jack Veal, Kid Loki made his mark in two standout episodes of the show’s first season. Whether he’ll return to the MCU remains uncertain—especially as the “Kid” aspect of Kid Loki becomes harder to maintain with the actor now older. Still, fans have long envisioned him as part of the Young Avengers since his debut.

Off-screen, though, Veal has opened up about some challenges behind the scenes. The now 17-year-old actor – who also starred in the TV drama The End of the F***ing World – recently shared a TikTok in which he revealed that he is currently facing homelessness after allegedly enduring extensive abuse at home.
“Hi. I’m a famous actor, I’m 17 and I’m homeless,” Veal said in a clip shared on TikTok on Sunday.
“You may know me from Loki, The End of the F***ing World, or various other movies where I played important roles. I haven’t mentioned much about what’s been going on in my life, but I think it’s time to reveal the truth. Without delving too much into the details, I was abused at home. It was physical violence, emotional abuse and etcetera.”

Veal went on to add that he has “nowhere else to go” and that “social services refuse to help me, despite what I have told them. I am desperate. I’ve been sleeping in the streets. I am currently sleeping in a trailer that has smashed-in windows, is unsafe and is two hours away from my work, which means I struggle to get to work every day.”
The video – which also revealed that Veal is autistic and has ADHD, and is also being screened for bipolar disorder and psychosis – racked up hundreds of thousands of views, leading to a subsequent update from Veal yesterday in which he shared that social services have since reached out to him to arrange a meeting to help him find accommodation or place him in foster care.
“I don’t know what you guys have done, but it’s gotten out there and it’s really, really helped me,” the British actor said. “They’re taking action now. They’re actually doing something. God bless you all. Thank you so much.”
Veal has vowed to share another update after his meeting with social services.
